Data Deletion Instructions

Shepherd Technologies (“Shepherd”) respects your right to request deletion of personal information we hold about you. This page explains how to make that request and what to expect.

How to Request Deletion

Email privacy@shepherd.tech with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include:

• The email address you used when interacting with our websites, lead magnets, or platform
• Any other email addresses or phone numbers you may have used
• A brief description of the data or accounts you want deleted (optional but helpful)

What Will Be Deleted

On a verified deletion request, we will delete or de-identify:

• Lead-capture records (name, email, phone, business details you submitted)
• Marketing list subscriptions and email preferences
• Platform account data (where applicable)
• Analytics records associated with your identifiers (PostHog person profile, Google Analytics user-ID)
• Session replay recordings tied to your identifiers
• Support tickets and message threads (where they contain your personal data)

What May Be Retained

We may retain certain information after a deletion request where we are required or permitted by law to do so, including:

• Transaction and tax records (up to 7 years, per accounting and tax law)
• Records of any chargebacks, fraud, or abuse
• Records related to legal claims, litigation holds, or law-enforcement requests
• Aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies you
• Backup copies that age out per our normal retention schedule

Where we retain such records, we will limit access to those who need it for the legal purpose and will delete them when the retention obligation ends.

Response Time

We will acknowledge your request within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days, unless we need additional time to verify your identity or to comply with applicable law. We will email confirmation when the deletion is complete.

Third-Party Services and Ad Platforms

We use third-party services such as Meta, Google, and PostHog for analytics, advertising, and product measurement. To request deletion of data those parties have collected directly through cookies and pixels on our sites, you may also need to use those providers' own opt-out and deletion tools:

• Meta: Meta data-deletion request
• Google: myactivity.google.com
• Google Analytics opt-out: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
• PostHog: contact us; we will trigger deletion via the PostHog Person Deletion API on your behalf

Verification

To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before completing a deletion request. We may ask you to confirm specific details from a recent interaction (such as an order number, a date you contacted support, or by replying from the email address on the account). We will not require you to create an account or provide more information than necessary to verify the request.

Authorized Agents

You may authorize an agent to make a deletion request on your behalf. We will require written proof of the authorization (such as a power of attorney or a signed permission letter) and may verify your identity directly.
